As a native speaker, I have had the wonderful opportunity to experience firsthand the Latino culture both outside and within the United States. However, completing the Masters of Spanish program at the University of Rhode Island has enabled me to further expand my knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language at a literature, cultural and historical level.
